I'm not expecting any extra bills, I just thought you might be interested. It's not a free site, I have a contract where I pay for 5GB a month. I've been running over for over a year now, averaging about 16GB/month. I wrote to UK2 ages ago offering to buy more but they don't have any other packages. I guess they tollerate me because they have bandwidth to spare.

Ouch, what an unpleasant surprise!

JW, I am one of those who have downloaded from your site. Should you get a similar bill, just tell me how to contribute and I'll pay for my share of the bandwidth overload. I'm sure other visitors of your site will follow (I haven't given up hope on humanity just yet, though it's coming).

I had a similar thing with my free site last year- then I got the shock of my life when 9 months later I got a bill for $1200 for going over my bandwidth allowance every month.

Just for info, that bandwidth you used last month is the same level that we have used this afternoon : )

Just had a look at my stats for last month.

36693 MB (733%)

The 733% refers to the fraction of of my limit I've used. All you people downloading stuff from my site should be very grateful to UK2 for not pulling the plug.
