As others have already mentioned, for me it is women in very tight jeans or jodpurs, tight fitted jacket or form fitting shirt (tails outside pants), long boots and opera gloves.
For fetish clothing, I just love messy latex – particularly a woman in full catsuit, gloves and knee length lace up boots in a foam bath (epitomised by Bianca in her latex lair website).
For myself, I have an old favourite leather close fitting shirt. I enjoy getting a soaking in this one, wearing it with either some latex or leather jeans. When the leather shirt & jeans dry on one’s body they shrink and become very form-fitting. In fact I also once lathered up with shaving foam, very exilerating (!), which didn't seem to do it any harm. Alternatively, a covering with gel is great for wetlook sheen.

By tpixie - Tue 04/05/04 11:39:59 GMT Club, party or formal clothing. More erotic, but still wearable in public the better. Off course material should be something that change shape, color or feel against skin when wet.
Silk and satin are great since their turn from light and opaque into heavy and sheer and stuck into body. Also sheer polyster is nice since it changes from sheer to almost opaque when wet. Leather and PVC are also my favorite. I used to love lycra outfits as they are usually skintight, but their are losing their touch, since those have not any dramatic change when wet. Lycra is usually too thick to give good sheer effect.
I love to see women in party and formal clothing: Long dresses, opera gloves, gothic medieval fashions (lace, nylon & velvet), catsuits and boots (especially thigh high platforms). For my own wettings I choose PVC trousers or tight trend jeans, sheer mesh shirts/tops - Quite girly cross-dressing stuff. Shoes I usually have to left out to avoid ruinage.
Currently I wonder how would metallic lame/lycra-fabric change when wet - dry picture below in the link.

Would it change color or transparency or is it as boring as latex - latex is great for messy but lousy for wetting.
If I was asked this question 5-10 year ago I would say jeans and sportwear. But as I have seen those wet many time and many times wet them myself they no longer have any kick. Currently I almost hate normal jeans (cotton, little loose, pockets).
For some reason I like those modern fashion jeans (low waist, no pockets, belts) - maybe because the lace thongs underneath or the fact that they almost drop down when wet.
