hey mk -
I can not get this to play on a MAC - i tried quicktime - windows media - mpeg stream clip - mplayer- yet no success - when i open the file it is just a white screen - the audio is very weak with a running hiss on top of it - you encoded it to the WVC1 video codec - which requires Windows Media Format 11 Runtime or Windows Media Player 11
wouldn't true HD be a .m2t file? - using firewire that is what they come in to the computer as - and there is so much free software that will play them
i uploaded this file to the bank as HD… http://www.thewambank.com/videos.php?id=9807&list=9
I encoded the .m2t file to an .avi file so it would be a quick download - using the h264 video codec - which works perfect on any computer - plus i was able to keep the 1020 dpi
just wondering what other ways people suggest doing this
respect!

In reply to Message (40176) 2 free HDTV clips
By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Tue 19/05/09 15:46:36 GMT Website: http://www.wamgold.com/coming/ I finally found a easier way to capture HDTV from my DVR to my PC at fullHD, so I have started to re-collect some of the old classic wam scenes in HD format as and when they broadcast them in in HD format, so as they were airing "Tommy" in HD this week I re-made the wetlook and messy scenes from that film as HD clips.
Each file is 80+ megs, and you will need a fast pc to play the clips smoothly cos they are encoded at 5mbps.
You can get the free clips from here.
