Yes, I remember this painting.
I had a book on Pre-Raphaelites group - it included this artist. I remember reading about this that the lady got sick after the shoot because the candle under her bath went out and the water got cold, but she didn't want to disturb the artist and said nothing.
Maybe it's a good thing to write about on my blog.

This has been the subject of many tv shows and music videos. The best re-enactment being the 1975 BBC drama series "The Love School", about the life of Millais, and showed how Millais painted this scene, not in a river, but by having his model lay in a water filled tin bath in his studio.
I could not resist doing my own spoof of this scene too....which I shot with UK model Micki in 1993 ...
