Just as if to prove a point, this is from an e-mail I got today:
"Yes everything is working now , but by looking at your site i saw that you don't have a lot of variety in the clothes department , in the wet look section it's really amazing but in the messy section it's always dress and office clothes , if you would do more casual clothes it would be great . "
Now to be honest, I could produce more messy casual stuff, then I'd get smart clothes fans complaining that I am not producing enough smart shoots. I could just produce more content to cater to such requests without upsetting my regular customers, but, that would entail even more work. I made jeansandtrousers.com, because I had the time to produce the extra media without effecting my usual shoots, but I really don't have the time to produce extra media for every request I get.
So I tend to focus mainly on the stuff that I like to produce, which luckily, for fans of smart clothes, is such content.

By anonymoist - Sat 07/02/15 18:42:36 GMT Leon maybe I said it badly. All I mean is that back in the day it was relatively rare to find jeans/casual clothes on your site and some others that are now (sadly) mostly defunct but now it's more common to do so. You're still a champion of formal/business attire and I sincerely thank you for all your great work (past, present and future). You're a wetlook legend. |

By leonmoomin - Leon@mostwam.com Sat 07/02/15 03:23:05 GMT I'm shooting more casual??? Bizarre statement? I have shot over 1500ish wetlook shoots over the last 15 years, of which about 600 are jeans or casual, the rest are formal wear, office wear, or business suits. I run ONE wetlook jeans and trousers site and that is the only one of my sites that has outfits like that on it, appart from a tiny smattering of such on topgunge.
If you're talking about free content, perhaps you should look here, there are lots of wet suits amongst the clips!

By anonymoist - Fri 06/02/15 16:40:49 GMT Couldn't agree with you more. Business skirt and to a lesser extent pant suits are the best along with suit like uniforms such as those worn by flight attendants and women's military dress uniforms but the reality is that the majority of wetlookers seem to prefer jeans and as such the contributors to this forum and others like it as well as the wetlook producers out there regardless of their personal tastes (I've read that Leon also prefers nicer outfits or at least used to) tend to provide material based on where the interest is the greatest. It's very frustrating for people like us who prefer more formal & feminine attire but there still are some sites that have a fair amount of our kind of clothing even though they too tend to be catering more and more to jeans and leggings including Leon (who I see has responded to your entry so you can get your URL from there),

and several Japanese sites including most notably Office Lady Special (exclusively business outfits):

and Gagon:

Unless things change people like us will have to be content with the constant stream of woman in wet casual clothes but I've always maintained the a good picture of wetlook jeans (or leggings) is better than a lousy picture of someone weaing business attire. |
