I think _some_ clothes show their wetness for a good while afterward. Sure, it would be important to show 'before' so that the 'wet' color is obvious. At some point, the shoulders will be dry, and thus be lighter than the rest of the shirt. I remember a few times when I was younger when I'd be all wet in my sweatshirt and jeans, and feel a bit embarrassed at my obvious wetness as I headed home. If there was any breeze, though, I was much cooler than the people around me! But that's off the track. Maybe a model who loves being wet would agree to a few shots 15 minutes apart-- enough to show her doing things like riding in a convertible, having a picnic, window shopping if in a town that has a Main Street, maybe even going to the mall or movie theater when she's dry enough. (Air conditioning is particularly uncomfy when you're wet, IMHO....)

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Mon 21/05/07 01:58:30 GMT It's nice in theory, probably nice for the woman who enjoys being wet, but the visible signs of wet clothes disappear very quickly, long before the clothes are actually dry.
There's little point to showing a woman in wet clothes more than a couple of minutes after she's climbed out of the pool or bath, turned off the shower, etc., because she won't appear wet anymore. A video producer could probably shoot a girl dry and after she's been soaked, mix the before and "2 minutes+" after, and nobody would know the difference (disregarding other clues like wet hair).

By Maurice - Mon 21/05/07 01:39:48 GMT Hey everyone. Firstly i hope im not critizising any of the wetlook producers, in my opinion their doing a fantastic job but there is one aspect of wetlook that i rarely ever see. That is the drying off stage after the woman has become wet. I find this to be an extreme turn on, just as much as she is in the water. When a woman's cltohes are wet and she is walking around, doing whatever she does, not caring that her clothes are soaked. that just drives me wild and i do wish to see more of this. Does anyone else is share this view? |
