That episode was a near remake of an original Star Trek episode... and the clothed shower reference was in that episode too!

Just noticed a cool sentence at 15:05 while watching Star Trek S01E03.

Some kind of disease was brought onboard the ship by Geordi that makes people feel extremely hot (as in heat, not sexy), Commander Riker asks Data to scan for people showering in clothes, to which Data replies: "Seeking an instance of someone showering in his or her clothes is..." and Riker completes with "I know, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack."
