But I have still been taking pictures in the summer and uploading them to Flickr, including 174 in summer 2019:

It's just that Malvineous and others shamed me into not making a big show of posting the links on the Forum.

Though there was another factor too.    Early last summer I was engaged in a discussion on the Forum about something or other, when suddenly I got a message telling me that all my posts would be checked by admin before posting.     I thought "obviously some mistake, it'll be sorted shortly", but days passed and yet that post, and others I tried, did not appear.    By the end of the week I was getting quite frantic trying to think of what I could possibly have done to cause me to be blocked on the Forum.   Whilst also thinking to myself "this is wrong, it shouldn't matter this much to me".    

It turned out that all I had done was to accidentally trigger a little trick that had been put in to catch spam, and Nigel was on holiday so hadn't been around to let me back in.    (Don't worry, by the way, it's not something anyone else is terribly likely to do, and it is clearly necessary).    But I decided that, for my own mental health, it would be a good idea to cut down my 'dependence' on commenting on the Forum.    But I haven't gone away entirely....
