All the videos I made on public beaches from 1979 to 1986 were just amateur videos I made of my wife....so I was not filming general public scenes in the 1980's. The only series I can think of that feature public beach scenes from the 80's and 90's were the old Sunsplash Candid series of UK beach scenes....which were made by Nigel (the owner of this forum). I do not have the Sunsplash series on my sites.....but Nigel has all of those videos on his site here ...

I did not shoot public beach scenes in the 1990's myself, but I did get some footage from others like Wetscape in Canada and couple of guys in California who sent me some beach stuff. All of this footage was in VHS which is low quality by today's standards.

It was not until 2002 that I met Wet Brian and we started the Apex series of Candid Beach scenes.

You will have to give more clues to jog my memory. Bear in mind that Wamtec did not officially start until 1991, so anything prior to 1991 did not come from me, but have been made by other wetlook fans in the 1980's...because I lived in Asia from 1980 to 1991 and was not living in Europe or the USA.
