It is a long time since I contributed to this forum and I am always interested in what MK has to say. Like Anonymoist I am in my 70s and have been into wetlook as far back as I can remember - certainly in my young childhood. My tastes haven't exactly changed, but have become more focused over the years and now are targeted on dressy, formal and with a tendency towards candid rather than set pieces.
I have written a number of stories, which I will submit to Siren and JW (who I believe is a close neighbour) when I pluck up the courage. These will illustrate my preferences exactly as there will never be any of the usual jeans (the obligatory uniform for 90% of those with little imagination), or leggings, jeggings, socks, boots, sweaters or mountaineering gear! My stories will consist of adventures in dresses, skirts (all lengths), ballgowns, prom and wedding, particularly bridesmaid outfits. I believe girls look infinitely more attractive when they are wearing beautiful clothes and a little dousing makes them even more adorable. Maybe I am just an old stick-in-the-mud(!), but I have always longed for the days when fashions revert to those times when women looked like women and men were very glad of it! |

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Thu 25/06/20 16:42:56 GMT That is an interesting question.....i.e. when did you first become aware of your interest in wetlook.
I have heard many people say the same as you....i.e. pre puberty...before the age of 12......which is the same as myself.
But I have had others says it was "when my hormones kicked in"....meaning post puberty.....as a teenager.
From the feedback I have received over the years. most people say their wetlook interests were pre puberty, not post puberty.

In reply to Message (81804.2.1) Not much, but what is the ages of the fans?
By Wetlooker2 - Thu 25/06/20 11:02:16 GMT I think my taste are still same like it was when i was around 10, maybe im a little more active in to it. The 2 big thing i thinking about.
1. What can we make about this? Is this something we can share and tell other people about? Invite other people to try, maybe find a tv/radio journalist to make something of it.
2. What is the ages of all the fans? Im 35, be in to wetlook since maybe 10, maybe 5 years old. I have always a special feeling about wet clothes. |

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Tue 23/06/20 23:29:17 GMT Have your wetlook tastes changed over the last 20 years, I know mine have.
I used to have more "general" wide spread tastes. When it was rare I used to lap it all up...no matter what, but ever since the floodgates opened in 2005 (the birth of Youtube) I find there is just far too much wetlook media to look at.... .... today I have refined my interests to more specific things.
Wetlook is like being a beer drinker......do you prefer to get happy with any kind of beer or have you developed a more refined taste for "real ale".
I set up a poll.. it would be interesting to see how folks vote.
