Would it be interesting for producers to accept payments in crypto currencies, and taking the risk that your income fluctuates strongly ?

I'm just interested - how many of you are familiar with some of the mainstream cryptocurrencies (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum) and would you use something like that to purchase wetlook content in contrast to services like Paypal or Verotel?
