In any subject where extensive diversity is possible, you will find that the available options are substantially limited, and most of the focus on specific subsets of options. That is true for anything from wetlook to wristwatches. (I tend to find myself looking for whatever options don’t exist, no matter what the subject.)

Indeed, dresses are under-represented, not just in quantity, but in style.

The “bring your own outfit” idea has considerable merits, but also acts to restrict the range of styles available.

As for “old and out of date” styles, some of us here are already old and out of date! We may well want something that represents our happier years and our own memories, than trying to identify with the outfits chosen by a completely different generation. It’s hard for me to identify with younger models, as I don’t identify with younger people at all in the first place! In so many cases, the models no longer reflect a relevant age group to me.

Jeans are great if they are a nice fit but among the various wetlook producers they seem to be 95% with the occasional pair of leggings and the odd skirt or dress. On the occasions when legs are on show they are often bare, which is not very "wetlook". As for stockings in these outfits.... Old and out of date 50 years ago!

OK, so outfit selection is a bit of an important thing here, and this led me to wondering: Are you content with the outfit selection of what gets produced? I realize each producer is different when it comes to that - some no doubt do things better than others, and some probably have varying amounts of hits and misses. I myself have by impressed by what's being worn, and I've also wondered who taught this producer (or model) how to dress or who thought this looked good.

Overall, I think the selections are decent, though there are occasions where I would make a tweak here or there.
