Also, if you're getting drenched in a public location and not able to get changed afterwards (or wanting to keep your wet stuff on) you might want to choose a drip-dry material like acrylic or polyester or viscose because cotton, denim, and similar can be a bit chilly if it suddenly gets windy and the the outdoor temperature is below 20C (68F) or so. And some public swimming pools don't like "long and flowing clothes" because they can get tangled up in railings or pool equipment (or other swimmers in the lane). As for shoes, they're advisable if there is rough terrain (pebbly beaches) or dare I say it broken glass bottles (OUCH!) around, though again pulblic pools may ban them for hygiene reasons (the one I go to allows flip-flops / sliders / jelly sandals poolside). You can mitigate all these restrictions if you hire the pool and run a pool party, or get a private outdoor pool in your garden (such as Intex) or use local rivers and beaches. Fun stuff: acrylic sweaters (these really look wet and water pours out of them after you get out), long skirts (such as umbrella dresses - these really spread out and float around you) and handbags/shoulder bags (you can fill them with water and pour them all over you). Feel free to experiment, have fun, and Always fill your day with wonderful things :) |

By Poliut - Fri 12/05/23 14:02:33 GMT Why not one outfit one time and another outfit another time? You're probably not going to be doing this just once, especially if you enjoy your first outing.
Also, what shoes do you intend to wear with each outfit? Gotta include those after all.
If you don't want attention and questions from the masses and bystanders, you should probably stick to the shower. It's a good place to explore the experience. |

By Kayla Verstraten - kaylaverstraten@gmail.com Fri 12/05/23 13:50:41 GMT Hello, I'm Kayla, a new registered member of this forum. I am currently a teenager.
I've been observing for a long time how people get wet with their clothes on. I don't know if that's a good thing, but somehow I find it an exciting idea. I don't know what to do, I'm hesitating between two things: A short t-shirt and shorts or long jeans, long-sleeved cotton t-shirt and a cotton cardigan.
I also doubt how to do it: shower in clothes, go to the sea with clothes on, get wet in an amusement park or otherwise???
I hope you can help me in this adventure...
X Kayla
