Here's an obscure one for you - back in the late 70s or early 80s comedian Peter Cook had a show whose name escapes me. It was a one-off special and featured Peter in various comedy sketches. Here's where it got better - there was a running gag with a loud New York taxi driver popping up now and again complaining that there were no wet blouses. In his opinion the only way to improve the show was by including wet blouses. Eventually there was a musical scene with Peter singing song, "Lovely Lady Of The Roses" which he'd recorded with Dudley Moore back around the mid 60s.
So he's sitting on a bench singing his song accompanied by group of dancing girls. The taxi driver pops up again - "You've got the girls! You've got the blouses! Now put some water on 'em!" at which point the girls are sprayed with jets of water. Peter's lyric changes to, "Lovely ladies in wet clothes-es, with your shorts so pink and tight etc." as the girls get a good soaking. I'd love to get my hands on this scene again but I've never ever come across it or any mention of it.
