If you're okay for the actors/actresses to be virtual, you can make a WAMmy video using Unreal Engine -- download a prebuilt character or mesh, edit it in a graphics app to set the clothing, and path it (and design the rooms and territory) using UnrealEdit (looks like trails of apples along the ground). The bots will follow the paths that you define across land or water (swimming as appropriate), just plug a vidcap in your HDMI port and run it a few times, chopping it about with a video editing app. Similarly you could use one of the Sims games (easier to dress them and build a house or environment than Unreal, trickier to animate them to build a storyboard). There are other wet video games around, and various layers of spontaneity (autonomous actions by the bots/actors). Far easier to work with than humans |
